THE final trumpet will sound today on the Mildura Jazz Festival for another year.
The second longest-running jazz celebration in Australia - the Mildura Jazz Food and Wine Festival - has marked it’s 30th year with an array of entertainment over four-days.
Crowds hid along the shaded sides of Langtree Mall on Saturday watching the entertainment while eyeing-off the latest season’s fashions in time for Spring racing’s Melbourne Cup day tomorrow.
Spectators tapped their feet and clapped their hands to the Hot B’ Hines beats, with iconic jazz hats out in force and adding some style to the day, as well as protection from the heat.
Jazz dancers found the tunes of the Maryborough Traditional Jazz Ensemble irresistible and got to their feet for a swing and jive on Saturday afternoon.
The Feast Street stage became the focal point for various jazz bands on Saturday night, providing non-stop entertainment for diners.
