Throughout the day mums at the aged care home were visited by friends and family with gifts to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Staff held a coffee shop for visitors and their mothers from 2pm to 4pm, treating them to cakes and chocolates.

Gladys Somerville was lucky enough to be visited by her daughter Kathyrn Humphrey and two grandchildren.

“They’ve given me lots of chocolates, a photo album and flowers,” Gladys said.
