Happy Days hits town

15 Aug, 2009 05:00 AM
SUNRAYSIA will be jumping and jiving today at the Wintersun Festival.

Rock ‘n’ rollers will be treated to a weekend of music, dancing and rock ‘n’ roll nostalgia as part of Mildura’s first Wintersun mini-event.

Sunraysia will be abuzz with activity this weekend, as thousands of visitors converge on town for the Wintersun, Merbein Centenary and 2009 Masters Games.

And, with the mercury expected to reach 26 degrees today, Sunraysia will give its visitors a warm welcome.

Richard Morfaw, Mildura City Heart manager, said it was fantastic to see so much activity.

“It’s great, we deserve it,” he said.

“We have more sun than anywhere else so we’re the perfect place to come.”
