More than 250 people from the Department of Sustainability and Environment, CFA, Parks Victoria, Department of Primary Industries, Victoria Police, State Emergency Service, Mildura Rural City Council and Mildura Hospital will take part in the mock emergency exercise.

Operation Oh’Mallee is an opportunity for people from different agencies to get together, learn and update skills plus work alongside each other.

DSE district manager for the Mallee, Russell Manning, said Operation Oh’Mallee was very important in the lead up to the fire season.
