More than $20,000 in prizes will be up for grabs at the Merbein Football Club function at the Setts on Saturday, May 16.

The event organiser, Mr Lee said the charity auction was designed to provide a cash boost for the struggling club.

“The response so far has been fantastic,” Mr Lee said.

“So many people have come on board which is great to see.

‘We would have sold a couple of hundred tickets but we’re aiming for 400 or 500.”
