MILDURA’S massive solar power station yesterday fired back into favour.
There is renewed optimism for the future of Solar Systems Ltd’s ambitious plans to build a $420 million station here after administrators revealed a high level of interest from other buyers in the company.
PriceWaterhouseCoopers was “reasonably optimistic” the company would be sold.
At least 40 local and overseas companies have contacted administrator Stephen Longley expressing an interest in Solar Systems.
Member for Mildura Peter Crisp yesterday said the level of interest in Solar Systems came as a “huge relief”.
