Four residents spoken to by Sunraysia Daily, who did not wish to give their surnames, all had the same story – the inconvenience was worth the benefit.

Resident Tanya said the works would improve the safety of the dangerous intersection and in the interim gave her children the benefit of a quiet play area.

“I love it,” she said.
