A public forum was held on Wednesday night, at the Benetook Room, regarding the Victorian Climate Change Green Paper, which maps out climate change priorities and direction for the upcoming White Paper is released.

The White Paper will set out the State Government’s climate change agenda for the next decade.

A spokesperson for Gavin Jennings, Minister for Environment and Climate Change, said the forum informed the public on climate change and helped the minister’s office make changes for the White Paper.

“This was the final session of 16 forums held across the state and as with the others we believe it was an extremely positive session, with strong ideas raised from a diverse mix of people from across the community.
