HUNDREDS of fans bounced to the beats of Aussie hip-hop as the Hilltop Hoods spat their raw raps for the first time on a Mildura stage.
About 1300 people packed into the Mildura Settlers on Friday night, with 850 tickets sold to the explosive live show of the Hilltop Hoods trio – MC Suffa, MC Pressure and DJ Debris.
A sea of glowing yellow wristbands all pointed toward the uber-popular Australian hip-hop rappers on stage, with some devoted fans getting a seven-foot view atop other’s shoulders.
Making at effortless rapport with the crowd, the Hilltop Hoods closely mouthed the microphone with patrons roaring as they spun a lyrical lexis in a hard Australian accent.
The rapid popularity of Australian hip-hop among the country’s youth in recent years, has seen Adelaide outfit, the Hilltop Hoods, surf the swelling trend to the peaks of success.
The group who went platinum with their record that debuted at number one, have sold-out shows across the Australia this year.
