BEARS scored a thrilling win over the boys team in Sunraysia Softball A Grade competition on Tuesday night.
One run was all that separated the two teams in the end, with the Bears coming out on top 5-4.
It was Bears good start that got them the points, scoring an early run in the first inning and following it up with three more in the second.
Bears’ Breeana Wade pitched for the entire game to have seven strike outs.
Casey Anderson started pitching for the boys, walking the first two batters before striking out Madison Cesco in the second innings.
Mitchell McGlashan had a field day with the bat, hitting the only home run for the game and two doubles.
