The Victorian Veteran Golfers Association annual Country Championship is not open to city club members and this year will be held at Chalambar Golf Club (Bendigo) on May 4 and 5. A Mixed event will be held on Sunday, May 3, with a rolling start at Chalambar from 11.30am, to get a feel for the course. $10 pay on the day and $10 for an evening meal for all tournament competitors.

There is a women’s event at nearby Aradale on the Monday, starting at 11.30am.
