Rick was in dynamic form on both days, qualifying fourth on Saturday, just behind brother Todd and then finishing third, while taking out second place in the final race yesterday.
He was beaten in both races by Jamie Whincup, who regained the edge in the title race after clinching both races at the Phillip Island 300.
Meanwhile, Todd was not as fortunate, crashing out in the first race and finishing last and then struggling in the second race, finishing 21st.
“We all really did a great job,” Rick said.
“Qualifying was our weakness. The race car we had was absolutely fantastic. Swenno (David Swenson, Race Engineer for No.15 Jack Daniel’s Racing Holden Commodore) gave me exactly what I needed there as far as the car goes.”
