For the second successive season, voting in the Gordon Casey Medal for the best and fairest player in the Sunraysia Football Netball League’s Under 18 competition has ended in a tie.

Injured Imperials skipper Love and Wentworth livewire Taylor finished last night’s count with 22 votes apiece, two ahead of Robinvale’s Patrick O’Connor.

One vote further back was Taylor’s Kangaroo team-mate Leroy Eggmolesse, who stormed home with eight out of a maximum nine votes in the final three rounds.
