TWO Sunraysia tennis players will be in action at the National Schools Tennis Championship in Wagga Wagga this week.
Ouyen’s Josh Gregg will compete for the Prince Alfred College at the championships, while Mildura’s Ben Schuler will also attend as a reserve player and hitting partner for the PAC team.
Both boys are boarders at the top Adelaide school, which is well known for its sporting achievements.
The PAC team, which is representing South Australia, got off to the best possible start yesterday by defeating the highly fancied Queensland team.
Starting yesterday, the championships pit the best school tennis teams from each state against each other, with the winning team getting the chance to travel overseas for the world championships in March next year.
