Chairman of the race’s steering committe, Eddie Warhurst, said Euston continued as an outstanding example of what a small community could achieve, particularly as it received strong local sponsorship and financial and in-kind support from the Balranald Shire Council.

“Euston is now in its 10th year of essential involvement,” Warhurst said. “I commend the board and management of the Euston Club for their researched support of a unique regional event of worth.”
