WALPEUP-Underbool clashes with Sea Lake Nandaly this afternoon in a match which could determine second spot in the Mallee Football League.
With only two games to go, the Roos need to win to jump ahead of Ouyen into second spot, but won’t have it easy against a Tigers outfit still smarting from last year’s grand final demolition.
Sea Lake Nandaly has been the standout this year, having already wrapped up the minor premiership with two rounds still to play.
These teams have met twice this season, with the honours split.
Walpeup-Underbool beat the Tigers on their home turf in round four, but Sea Lake Nandaly reversed that result with a six-goal win in round 11.
That round four loss was the only time the Tigers have tasted defeat this season, but they must be at their best today to stop the Roos.
