MILDURA school children will get the opportunity to meet some of Hawthorn’s premiership heroes as a part of the AFL Country Super Clinic next week.

Eight Hawthorn players, including former local Ben McGlynn, will be in Mildura for the clinic on Monday, June 15, which will be attended by more than 600 local school children.

Students will have the opportunity to work with all the AFL stars in skills-based activities, while there will also be time on the day for autographs and photographs with the Hawks stars.

The day will be broken up into two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon at Sarah Oval.

No doubt McGlynn will be a crowd favourite at the clinic, having played in the SFNL for Wentworth in his junior years.

McGlynn was drafted by the Hawks in 2005, but missed out on playing in their Grand Final win over Geelong last year.

However, premiership players Michael Osborne, Brad Sewell, and Campbell Brown will all be in Mildura for the clinic.
