THREE of Australia’s best and brightest young tennis stars will headline at the Mildura Grand Tennis International next weekend.
Twenty-year-old Brydan Klein is the returning men’s champ and is looking to win the competition for a third consecutive time.
Jarmila Groth will be the top female seed for the event after making the Burnie Challenger final on Sunday.
Despite leaving the Australian Open after round one, she will be Perth tennis star Casey Dellacqua’s main competition.
Dellacqua announced she would enter the Mildura Grand Tennis International after a loss to Venus Williams in the Australian Open third round.
The 24-year-old is using the Mildura competition to improve her low world ranking after spending most of last year recovering from a full shoulder reconstruction.
