IT will be a clash of the titans in Sunraysia Hearing Clinic Pennant Bowls this weekend when top sides Workers and Mildura go head-to-head at Cureton Avenue.
These sides have set the mark this season and are undefeated although neither side has had things all their own way with some up and down form across the rinks.
Mildura will welcome Mark Eckel back into the skips role, which has been ably filled by Peter Harrison.
Wayne Gardner’s rink responded to some criticism last week with a resounding win over Red Cliffs’ Bill Christenson, but there is still a question mark over their ability under pressure.
On the Workers side Michael Legin is having a stellar season and Don Baird has been in particularly good form.
