WHITESTARS Soccer Academy had a special guest at the weekend with professional coach Drago Kljajic in Mildura to put the young players through their paces.

Kljajic was a successful professional player in the former Yugoslavian first division, and now runs several youth academies in Adelaide.

The Whitestars Academy meets once a week over summer to help keep players tuned up for the coming winter season and also continue their development.

Players range from eight to teenagers and come from a variety of backgrounds, including new arrivals from Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.
