The transfer deadline was midnight on June 30, with clubs now unable to bring in or trade any players until the end of the 2009 season.

SFNL administrator Michael Iredale said it had been a busy time at league headquarters.

“I’d say we’ve definitely had more transfer this year than last,” Iredale said. “A lot of them are junior kids coming up to play Under 18s, we’ve probably had 40 or 50 of them.”
