West scores 70 not out

20 Nov, 2009 04:00 AM
PAST players and supporters of Mildura West Cricket Club will remember the great catches and superb knocks of the game over the past 70 years at the weekend.

Ex-Mildura West Cricket Club members and their families will reunite today for a meet-and-greet at the cricket club rooms at Aero Ovals on 11th Street from 7pm.

The three-day reunion celebration will honour history of the club that has spanned an impressive seven decades.

About 160 guests will then attend a dinner at the Mildura West Club Rooms and marquee tomorrow from 7.30pm.

The dinner will include music and live-entertainment.

Mildura committee member and organiser John Hall said past members would travel from Queensland, SA, and Melbourne to be part of the team once more.
